the province

Huesca is one of the three provinces of the region of Aragon in Northeast Spain.  There are strong landscape contrasts and a variety of climates, from Alpine to Continental and Mediterranean together with a diversity of ecosystems, difficult to find in another place in such a small area. As a result, 13% of its territory are natural protected areas.

The province also boasts an important cultural heritage, with numerous examples of Romanesque art, as well as architectural treasures, plus a rich and varied gastronomy.
