Isabelle Frochot is a senior lecturer in Tourism at the University Savoie Mont Blanc. Isabelle completed her PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University and then worked as a lecturer in Scotland for five years. Since returning to France, Isabelle has moved her research focus to the mountain tourism context, concentrating now on the analysis of the consumer experience. She has specialized on the study of tourist behaviour starting with psychographic segmentation studies (benefit segmentation) applied to historic sites and rural tourists and service quality scales with the creation of HISTOQUAL. She has published several academic books on Tourism Marketing including Frochot I. & Batat W. (2013) Marketing and Designing the Tourist Experience, Good-Fellow.
Perrine Pelen is a former ski champion in slalom, who won the the World Ski Championship in 1985 (Bormio) and three Olympic medals. She now leads the Marketing Development of « Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme », the regional Destination Management Organisation.
Dominique Kreziak is a senior lecturer in marketing and consumer behaviour at the University Savoie Mont Blanc. Her research interests range from tourism and consumer experience to sustainable consumption, involving both qualitative and quantitative methods. She is currently in charge of the IAE SMB Event Management Master's program.
Benoit Laval, an avid runner who ran over 100 Trails on all continents and selected Team France Trail-running in 2010, is the founder and CEO of Raidlight, the pioneer brand of Trail-Running. With a team of 30 employees with a passion for Outdoor, perched at 1000 meters altitude in the heart of the Massif de Chartreuse, Raidlight continues to develop light products and new services and to offer complete equipment (shoes, textiles, hardware , backpack and accessories) for all trail-runners. The first brand to open its Team to all runners and trail enthusiasts, Raidlight is also the only brand that fully integrates Outdoor users to design its products through collaborative R & D. Raidlight is part of Chartreuse Outdoor Lab entity, alonside Vertical and V-Quest brands, and also with Outdoor Initiatives association, which drives Stations de Trail and Espaces Ski de Rando network.
Kerstin Grandclaudon is a promotion, marketing and press officer at Val d’Isère Tourisme.
She is in charge of promotion and marketing the resort, in cooperation with tour operators and travel agencies), as well as researching and analysing of the market in order to bring in new proposals and ideas. She represents Val d’Isère in France and in foreign countries on professional (TO, travel agencies, press agencies, journalists) and general public meetings (e.g. press workshops, tourism trade fairs, public fairs, PR & Network meetings...), promotes and spreads information about the resort to media representatives (journalists, agencies, other media contacts…) and institutional partners (Savoie Mont-Blanc Tourisme, France Montagnes, Print media, web, blogs, TV, radio…). She also updates the customer and journalist databases (contacts, reminders and follow-up) and the work documents and supports (sales book, professional brochure, press kit, professional website, photo library…).
After graduating from a master’s degree in communication, Blandine Thenet has been in charge of PR at Only Lyon Tourism and Congress, and head of the Promotion department since 2008. Her role is to develop Tourism in Lyon, through media, tourism professionals and international and national targets.
After graduating from the University of Savoie with a Master degree in Hotel Management Administration, Frédéric Toitot started his hotel career for 6 years with Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, as a Front Office Manager in 5 five star properties located in London and New York City. His career continued with Accorhotels at the worldwide Headquarters in Paris where he successively held various positions as Project Manager in Revenue management, Pricing and Distribution. He is currently the Director of Programs and Careers for Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing at Accorhotels Headquarters. His responsibilities include overseeing the development of recruitment, training, career and talent management efforts for the 700 members of the Revenue Management community. He is also part time lecturer at the University Savoie Mont Blanc, in charge of a Revenue Management and Hospitality Management Master’s Program.
