Under the driving idea of “Slow Tourism”, choose a destination/product in your country that you
would define as “best practice” in which tourism contributes to socio-economic development by promoting local resources (culture, gastronomy, accommodation, leisure and sport activities…) and, at
the same time, it respects the natural environment. Present the product/ destination, describe their tourism product/products, their marketing strategy, its distribution channels and
explain how they implement the Slow Tourism main components.
To identify and describe the different countries´ best Slow Tourism destinations.
Format and timing:
A 10 to 15 minutes oral presentation to be given on Monday, November 14th, 2016.
A written and well-structured/referenced paper of maximum 5 pages to be handed in to the
organizers on Monday, November 14th, 2016. Text requirements: Margins 2,5 (top, bottom, left, right), Font: Times 12, Paragraph 1,5.
A Power Point or similar digital software presentation per team.
